HI, I’M AMELIA

I'm am a doula, health educator, activist, and parent to three children. I love nature, theatre, and most of all supporting my clients in their reproductive health journey. I became a doula because I believe we are going to change the world. How you experience birth and postpartum either can you up for success or can negatively affect your new life as a parent and your family.

I want you to be able to find peace and calm during labor and feel empowered to make the decisions that work best for you and your family. I like my clients to have all the facts, so I provide evidence-based and non-biased information about birth and life with your new baby. I'm a listening ear and advocate for you and your family.

I was already having a difficult pregnancy and then COVID came along and threw another wrench into the mix. We had recently moved to Greensboro, so neither of us had any family close by, and with COVID, we couldn’t have anyone come down for the birth. Amelia stepped up and reassured us and provided the support we needed.

Amelia’s help was such a blessing after the birth of my first daughter. She was there to help with anything we needed, providing information on breastfeeding and pumping/milk storage, assisting with the baby so I could rest, she helped with household chores, ran errands when we needed diaper cream, anything we needed. I highly recommend Amelia’s doula services, especially for new parents in the Greensboro area!
