I have lived in Greensboro, NC for over 20 years, and I serve the Triad and the surrounding areas. As a birth and postpartum doula I am committed to providing you with the best unconditional care and support during your labor, delivery, and recovery. I believe and trust in the birthing person. With every birth and postpartum period there is something to learn. My practice is client focused. I will facilitate meaningful communication between you and other birth professionals, and I will advocate for client informed birth. I am a birth and postpartum expert, with extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, feeding baby, postpartum period, and emotions.
My preferred pronouns are she/her/hers. I have a Masters degree in Public Health Education, and I am a Master Certified Health Education Specialist. In 2010 I received birth doula training through DONA International. In 2019 I received birth and postpartum doula training from Doula Trainings International. I have worked in various health education settings, including worksite wellness, SNAP-Ed, Community Health Education, and Sex Education. I am certified to teach the Our Whole Lives: Lifespan Sexuality Education Curriculum.
