Lenoir, NC: Full-Spectrum Doula Training

I’m excited to announce the next in-person, full-spectrum doula training I will be offering will be December 9-12, 2021 in Lenoir, NC.

Lenoir is where I grew up and I’m thrilled to be able to bring Doula Trainings International’s full-spectrum doula curriculum to Caldwell County and the surrounding counties.

Doula work is a form of social justice. Evidence shows when a doula is present with someone during any stage of their reproductive health journey, they have better health outcomes. This includes better birth outcomes, fewer interventions, better postpartum health, and fewer incidences of Postpartum Mood Disorders. A doula provides emotional, physical, and educational support to the communities they serve and act as a public health intervention. In marginalized communities where we see higher rates of health complications during pregnancy, birth, and recovery, having access to a doula is vital.
