In this episode, I spoke with Martha Chaires, the board president of the Down Syndrome Network of Greater Greensboro. The parent and volunteer run organization provides services and advocacy for folks who have babies that have been diagnosed with Down syndrome.

This issue is especially relevant to me because my youngest child has Down syndrome. Martha and I had very different birth and diagnosis experiences with our children, and we discuss those in the episode.
